The Social Science and Public Services Department offers a wide array of quality courses for the Liberal Arts degree, as well as serves as the home for four Public Service programs listed below. Although the breadth of its offerings is wide, the Department is known for its commitment to learner-centered teaching and active engagement of its students in the larger community to bring about positive change. The tenured, full-time faculty in this Department have all received awards for teaching excellence and/or service to the community.
