WOMEN IN TRANSITION: MOVING FORWARD

Did you ever think about going back to school or work or just embarking on a different life transition? 

At a recent event at the Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui campus, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Kona Branch, in partnership with the University Center - West Hawai’i, sponsored a workshop titled: “Women in Transition: Moving Forward” prepared many women making that life changing transition a successful one.

The June 24th workshop, featured inspirational speakers, informative, educational breakout sessions, topics included Kūlia I Ka Nu‘u (Reaching for the Summit);  Career Exploration;  Preparing for Your Career Success;  We Advise…..You Decide;  Creating Life Balance:Healthful Strategies You Can Do, and provided women’s resources to help the women move forward in 2017 and beyond.
