GET HELP TRANSFERRING TO A FOUR-YEAR UNIVERSITY DURING UH TRANSFER DAY, FEBRUARY 20

Are you a Hawai‘i Community College student interested in or curious about attending a four-year university?

If so, make plans to attend “UH Transfer Day at Hawai‘i CC” on Tuesday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Manono Campus in Hilo.

Representatives from many academic programs and student services departments from UH Hilo, Mānoa and West O‘ahu will be there to talk with students about options for earning a bachelor’s degree after attending Hawai‘i CC.

In addition there will be information sessions on financial aid and distance learning for transfer students.

See below for more. (NOTE: Information will be updated as more details become available.)

DETAILS ABOUT UH TRANSFER DAY AT HAWAI‘I CC

The event will happen in and around Kaneikeao (Building 379) on the Manono campus.

>>>Get “auto-admitted” on the spot

Students graduating from any of the University of Hawaiʻi’s seven community colleges with an A.A. degree or selected A.S. degrees will be notified that they may be eligible for automatic admission to UH Mānoa, UH Hilo, or UH West O‘ahu. Under automatic admission, the application fee is waived, priority registration provided, and student transcripts analyzed to help identify likely majors. If you are a student who received an auto admissions notice on February 1, you can talk to admissions representatives from the four-year campuses at UH Transfer Day, and when you’re ready to select your campus, they can help you complete it. Also, if they need transcripts from a non-UH campus you attended previously, we will help you make that request.

>>>Food and Fun!

Complete a UH Transfer Day Passport and get a taco at no charge! (Available for first 300 students from 11a.m.-1:30 p.m.). Giveaways! Take a selfie at the selfie station and share your future plans with the world!
