CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 2019!

Hawai‘i Community College hosted commencement ceremonies May 10 and 11 as students, their loved ones, faculty, staff, administrators and honored guests celebrated the students’ academic achievements.

This year, 576 students graduated from Hawai‘i CC with a total of 766 degrees and certificates. Among the graduates were 35 students who earned a 4.0 grade point average.

The keynote speaker at Hawai'i CC – Palamanui was the Honorable Ronald Ibarra, a retired judge and longtime community servant in West Hawai'i. The keynote speaker at the Hilo commencement ceremony was Craig Takamine, the President of Takamine Construction, and a Class of 1995 Carpentry Alumnus.
