Lamakū Information

As a DE student, the most important tool you will need to access and use is Lamakū. Lamakū is the official online collaboration and learning environment of the University of Hawaiʻi system. Course material, testing, and communication are mainly delivered through Lamakū for online classes. In addition, some instructors will use Lamakū to supplement instruction in ITV, cable, and even face-to-face classes.

This means you can access course content (syllabus, modules, assignments, tests, grades, etc.) and communication tools (messages, discussion boards, etc.) on Lamakū to interact with your instructor and classmates almost 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Log in to Lamakū with your UH Username and password (the same information you use to log in to your UH email account and MyUH). Go to the Lamakū portal page to log in.

New to Lamakū?

If you're new to using Lamakū, or it's been a while since you last used it for your classes, visit the UH Community Colleges Lamakū Student Resources page for a video walkthrough.
