This report complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act, the Violence Against Women Act and Title IX of the 1972 Education Act and uses information maintained by the Hawaii Community College Safety and Security Office, information provided by other Community College offices such as Student Affairs, Campus Security Authorities, and information provided by local law enforcement agencies surrounding the Hawaii Community College campus. Each of these offices provides updated policy information and crime data.

This report provides statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off‐campus buildings or property owned, leased, or controlled by Hawaii Community College. This report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies regarding sexual assault, alcohol, and other drugs.

Residential Facilities

Hawaii Community College does not have student organizations with non‐campus housing and does not have student housing facilities.  Therefore, crime statistics for residential facilities are not reported in our Annual Security Report.  For our students who apply for housing through the UH Hilo University Housing Program, you may view the crime statistics for residential facilities on the UH Hilo website.
