Dear Hawai'i Community College Students,
Dear Hawai'i Community College Students,
This is a message sent to faculty and staff by Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services Ken Kaleiwahea.
Aloha faculty and staff,
A number of adjustments regarding campus facilities have been made due to a significant drop in usage as a result of the University's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Governor Ige’s stay-at-home order through April 30.
Aloha Esteemed Faculty and Lecturers,
I hope all of you are doing well and are ready to deploy your courses via distance learning. Spend this week reacquainting with your students and acquainting your students and yourself to the different modality of delivery. Please let your DC, Dean, or me know if there's anything you and/or your students need. We have resource people available to assist.
Aloha Faculty and Lecturers,
UH and Hawai`i CC are committed to completing the academic semester and enabling students to graduate on schedule. Hawai`i CC is transitioning to deliver most of its classes via distance education, either online or via Zoom/Real Presence/Google Meet to lessen the risk of our faculty, staff, and students contracting COVID-19.
Aloha mai kākou,
Mahalo for all of the hard work you have been doing in response to this rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19. I want to provide several updates, including UH President David Lassner’s most recent message, as well as other information specific to Hawai‘i CC. And as always, the situation is evolving and information provided is subject to change.
