The Hawai'i Community College Children's Center is an accredited site that provides early education for students, faculty, staff, of Hawai'i Community College and UH Hilo, and the community of Hilo. Children range in ages from 18 months to 5 years old.
The Children's Center offers a high quality developmental approach to Early Childhood Education, and serves as a training site for adult students under the supervision of qualified instructors and staff. The center provides students with hands-on laboratory experiences as well as consistent opportunities to develop, practice and implement skills needs to become an Early Childhood professional in the community.
