The Environmental Studies Academic Subject Certificate, within the Liberal Arts degree, will provide a focus on issues concerning our environment. Some issues are unique to Hawai‘i while some are global. In order to allow students to study environmental issues from many different angles, the curriculum of this certificate is based on an interdisciplinary approach to Environmental Studies and includes courses from Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
