ANGLES, POLYGONS, and ARC LENGTH 3.1.5

  1. Properties of Polygons —
    1. Interior Angles of a Triangle:
The sum of the measures Triangle (3 interior angles) diagram
of the (3 interior) angles for
      any triangle is 180 degrees,
          i.e.,   α + β + γ = 180°
    2. Five Primary Polygons (n-sides):
      triangle (3), quadrilateral (4), pentagon (5),
      hexagon (6), and octagon (8)...
    3. Regular Polygons:  A "regular" polygon is any
polygon whose sides are equal in length, and
whose interior angles have the same measure.
