Tobias Brill is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Puna. He’s a graduate of the University of HI at Hilo and received an MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Tobias has had art exhibitions in Hawaii, California and New York. He has been a Lecturer in Art at Hawaii CC since 2009.

Bryan Campbell is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and motion graphics designer, currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Creative Media, the Senior Multimedia Producer at a health-tech company on the mainland, and a freelance editor. He loves telling stories that feature original thinkers tackling complex problems. His documentary work has explored the stories of maverick humanitarian aid workers, accessibility-focused playwrights, organic farmers, and eccentric thrift store resellers. In the classroom, Bryan emphasizes hands-on learning with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. In addition to teaching and documentary filmmaking, Bryan also has a love of oral history projects, astrophotography, podcasting, and gardening.

David graduated from the University of Southern CA with a Masters in Film and TV Production. He produced Crackle TV originals including Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld. He is currently the Vice President of The Critics Choice Association and a Supervising Producer of all seven Critic Choice Awards.

Kelly grew up on the east coast. After a childhood of 80s cartoons and great 90s animated features, she followed the sun west to pursue her dreams of animation. After a short side step (10 yrs) as videographer in the US Air Force, she made her way to LA to break into animation as a revisionist. She got her first break with Mike Young Productions. She learned a lot and was able to take that experience to Disney TV animation where she leveled up to a board artist on shows like Elena of Avalor and Alice’s Wonderland Bakery. Along the way she married and had a rambunctious little boy with 3 dogs and 2 cats…how does she do it. When she’s not creating whimsical storyboards, you can find her creating spaces, homesteading and working on her tiki bar.

Meidor Hu is an interdisciplinary artist comfortable moving from paint, print, drawings or installations. Before returning to teach at Hawaii Community College and UHH, Hu worked as a graphic designer and consultant across a broad range of design-related projects in the San Francisco Bay area.
She currently teaches traditional studio art classes and digital media classes here at HawCC. Meidor received a BA from University of Hawaii at Hilo and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work on interdisciplinary projects has been displayed locally at the Hawaii State Museum, The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu Academy of Arts and in the continental U.S.

Kaori was born in Tokyo, Japan and currently resides in Hilo, Hawaii since 1994. She has a great educational background as she graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Hilo with a Bachelors in Art, the Musashino Art University Junior College as a post graduate in Graphic Design, and received a Certificate in Healing through Art from the California State University of San Marcos. She has been teaching 2D design, watercolor painting, silkscreen and textile printing at Hawaii Community College as lecturer since 2010. Kaori is an independent artist who has had shows in Japan, Australia and the US.

As a senior art director, Raymond is very much engaged in helping businesses create dynamic marketing and advertising material. He enjoys creating compelling visual designs in collaboration with marketing teams that can engage with audiences in meaningful ways. For over 15 years, Raymond worked for major game publishers Electronic Arts and Ubisoft, creating cover art for dozens of successful video games. Using my strength in brand development, he is also helping to support internal brand development systems. An equally important part of his time is devoted to mentoring emerging designers and digital artists. Raymond teaches courses in digital arts and interactive design at the University of Hawaii and Ohlone College in the Bay Area, California. He lives on the beautiful Big Island, Hawaii and contribute in my free time to volunteer in the local community.
