Fall 2008

  • Apr 15 (T) Last day for International Students (living abroad) to submit complete Fall 2008 application
  • May 31 (S) Last day for International Students (in the US with F-1 Visa) to submit complete Fall 2008 application
  • July 18 (F) Payment of HawCC (and UH System) Tuition/Fees due by 4:00 pm if you early registered
  • Aug 1 (F) Last day to submit completed applications for Fall 2008 Semester
  • Aug 8 (F) Payment of HawCC (and UH System) Tuition/Fees due by 4:00 pm if you registered after July 18
  • Aug 15 (F) Last day for International Students (living abroad) to submit complete Spring 2009 application
  • Aug 15 (F) Admission Day (Holiday)
  • Aug 19-20 (T-W) Regular Registration (New, Returning, Continuing, and Transfer Students)
  • Aug 25 (M) First day of Instruction
  • Aug 25-29 (M-F) Registration changes (Adds/Drops) (In-person anytime: $5.00 fee, Online until Aug 29: no charge)
  • NOTE: A $30.00 Late Registration fee will be charged for new registrations on or after the first day of
  • instruction. Full Tuition Payment is due by 4:00pm on the day you register
  • Aug 29 (F) Last day to officially withdraw without owing tuition. (If you register and decide to not attend, you must
  • officially withdraw by this date. Afterwards, students with unpaid balances will be obligated to pay.)
  • Aug 29 (F) Last day to receive 100% Tuition Refund for withdrawal from semester-length classes
  • Aug 29 (F) Last day to receive Fees Refund for withdrawal from all UH System classes

  • Sep 12 (F) Last day to receive 50% Tuition Refund for withdrawal from semester-length classes

  • Oct 24 (F) Last day to apply for Fall Semester Graduation
  • Nov 3 (M) Financial Aid census date
  • Nov 3 (M) Last day to Withdraw from classes with a "W" (for semester-length classes)
  • Nov 3 (M) "I" removal deadline: Instructor to A&R/WHSS Office
  • Nov 3 (M) Last day to submit application to Audit classes

  • Dec 11 (R) Last day to submit Complete Withdrawal form. (Dropping you from ALL your HawCC Fall classes)
  • NOTE: If you are enrolled in part-term class(es), the Complete Withdrawal must be done before any class is completed.
  • Dec 11 (R) Last day of Instruction
  • Dec 12 (F) Writing Final Exams
  • Dec 12 (F) Final Exams for classes that met on Fridays only throughout the semester
  • Dec 15-18 (M-R) Final Examinations
  • Dec 22 (M) Fall Semester ends; Instructors must submit grades by 12:00 noon
  • Jan 12, 2009 (M) First Day of Spring 2009 Semester
