28th annual Earth Day Fair to feature fun, educational activities

Hawai‘i Community College and the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo are pleased to announce that the 28th Annual Earth Day Fair will be happening Friday, April 22 at the UH Hilo campus from 9 a.m. to 2 pm.

The event is combined with the 4th Annual Conservation Career Day.

This free, public event will feature over 50 presenters, activities and educational exhibits; garden and greenhouse tours; live entertainment; crafts; giveaways; and more.

Among the new features of this year’s event are workshops on marine transects, global positioning systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle simulator technology.

Hawai'i CC students, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend the event, join in and enjoy the festivities!
