Hawaii Community College Campus Closure Tuesday, August 18

UPDATE: Hawaiʻi Community College will be closed Tuesday, August 18. This is a change from the message sent earlier today announcing that all UH campuses would reopen Tuesday.

The closure follows Governor Josh Green’s announcement this afternoon that state and county offices on Hawaiʻi Island will remain closed Tuesday due to ongoing cleanup and recovery from Hurricane Lala.

Please note:

• All Hawaiʻi CC facilities and offices will be closed. In-person events, activities, programs and scheduled gatherings are canceled.
• Only essential employees who have been directed to report should come to campus.
• All other employees should not report to campus and should contact their supervisors with questions regarding their work status.
