Hawai‘i CC 2020 Alumni of the Year Nominations Now Open; Deadline is February 29

Hawai‘i Community College Alumni & ‘Ohana is pleased to announce that nominations for the Alumni of the Year Award are now open. The award, established in 2017, recognizes Hawai‘i CC alumni and former students who have made major contributions to their professions, vocations, and/or communities.

ANNUAL THEME

The annual theme for the 2020 Alumni of the Year is sustainability, which is a special area of focus at Hawai‘i Community College in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Sustainability includes the three pillars of sustainability that are vital for a healthy community. The three pillars of sustainability are environmental, social/cultural and economic. Hawai‘i CC and its alumni have contributed greatly to these aspects of sustainability in our community; nominate them and help us celebrate their accomplishments!
