What the program offers
Intensive English language courses to prepare for university
study or for personal and professional development.
- Five eight week sessions each year beginning in January, March, June,
August, and October.
- Core classes in Listening/Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar.
- 20 hours of in-class instruction per week (five hours a day, four
days a week).
- Up to four proficiency levels.
- Multi-media and Reading lab.
- Scheduled time to practice English with American students.
- Hawaiian culture class to introduce students to the beauty and uniqueness
of the Hawaiian Islands and its people.
- Orientation and placement testing.
- TOEFL Preparation class
- Institutional TOEFL test at the end of each session.
- Graduation program, Certificates of Participation and Program Completion
