Hospitality & Tourism (HOST) Career Opportunities

Hospitality students can complete course study in class or online. The course offers interactive field trips with local hospitality proprietors from destination resorts to the Big Island premier Bed and Breakfast Inns. This program has continually brought together students who enjoy each others' fellowship while working to reach a mutual goal.
~ Cleon B.

The Hospitality and Tourism Program prepares the student with basic knowledge of the hospitality industry and hands-on training from bed and breakfasts to large resorts and even on the sea from small charter boats to cruise ships. Each visitor-oriented business requires a numerous variety of job skills. The large hotels, resorts and cruise ships are similar to a small city in combining a wide range of career opportunities. Entry-level jobs may quickly lead to more responsibility, higher pay and corporate positions.
