Free online personalized COMPASS Math Prep
available to all Hawaii CC students.

Picture of edready logoIf you’re new to the college and have not yet taken your placement test, or if you have taken COMPASS math and are not pleased with your results, a new program is available to you. EdReady.

If you complete your personalized EdReady program online, designed to help you with only those areas with which you need help, you can retest the COMPASS math for free. This can save you time and money.

Tutoring is online from the Online Learning Academy, as well as through The Learning Center and Hale Kea, where computers are available for EdReady use. See pdf flier for details.

Hawaii Community College is pleased to partner with UH Manoa, the Online Learning Academy, and NROC (the National Repository of Online Courses) to offer a free COMPASS math preparation program to Hawaii CC students and aspiring students.

Log onto uh.edready.org and register for free.
Use "hawaiiccfall2015" as your access code

You’ll be asked to take an assessment to identify the areas in math that you are already well prepared for and those that you will need to work on to place into college level math.

Work through your personalized study plan at your own pace, Have free online tutoring available from UH students trained to use Blackboard technology to help you on your computer or tablet. Work on only those areas you need help with as identified in the assessment. Meet your goal and retest COMPASS for free.

  • Save time by placing into the highest math class for which you are ready.
  • Save money by “skipping” developmental classes you may not need to take.
  • Earn your degree at a faster pace by meeting the math requirement sooner.
