Student Support

The Office of Student Services provides all the necessary and complementary services related to the needs of students which are not directly instructional. The services are to better enable students to succeed in their learning experiences, adjust to the College and seek future goals in a more orderly fashion.

Counseling

Description:
Helps students develop academic and personal skills in order to succeed in college.
Services:
  • Assists students with the admissions and registration procedures.
  • Helps students with learning and study strategies.
  • Provides information about educational options, and transfer procedures.
  • Helps students with their career choices.
  • Helps students learn job search skills, including resume writing, interviewing, and locating employment on- and off-campus.
  • Helps students achieve positive relationships with self and others

Description:
Provides support services for students with disabilities
Services:
Supports educational equality in all HawCC programs and activities.

Financial Aid

Description:
Assists current and prospective Hawaii Community College students in funding their educational goals.

Services:
Assist students with the application process for financial aid and scholarships

Counsels students on financial aid probation, suspension, or termination.
