This program prepares the student for employment as a welder or sheet metal worker in the construction, food processing, or manufacturing industry. The job requires good physical health. Job responsibilities may include fabricating, repairing, or maintaining metal products on equipment, buildings, and systems. A Certificate of Competency is available in Machine Shop and Basic Welding.
